In order to be successful, they will need some suggestions of the different types that are out there to choose from. The way fifth graders learn about things is by observation and by internalizing what they see. By observing, they can gather information that can help them to develop their own understanding. When they have heard enough, it is up to them to use this information to work it out and explain how and why.By using their own observation to see if and why the person did what he or she did, they will have the best chance of having an accurate explanation for the event. Since they were the ones who experienced the event, they will have the best chance of telling the right story. And since the main point of the essay is to convince the reader that the writer can give them an explanati on of the event, it makes sense to get as much as possible into the writing.Information is information. It is what they are doing when they observe. This makes it easy for a writer to use information to develop an essay that can get them the job done. The writer should try to leave out as much background information as possible and focus only on the story that is needed.Although it can be very time consuming, a fifth grader may want to look through the available fifth grade cause and effect essay samples in order to get ideas for the best topic. This helps them to develop a short story about what they experienced. As far as the main ideas, these are what make the story more interesting and add the most important parts to the story. These are the 'things' that have happened in the story. When the story has been developed, the author must consider how the events that they relate took place. It may be a friend's bir thday or a school play, but the important thing is to write the right facts and use the right type of writing.A fifth grader may have some problems in understanding a specific event, but they should not let this stop them from learning about cause and effect when it comes to essays.
